The Colombian Rainforest is being destroyed as you read this. In fact, by the time you're done reading this, it is estimated that about 1,000 acres of Rainforest land have been chopped, burned, or otherwise destroyed. Each year more and more forest land is being destroyed so that Colombia can expand its economy.

Or 90,000 acres an hour
Unbelievably, thats 216,000 acres a day.
Can you guess how many acres that is per year?...
